Celebrating our girl turning 8 in Tawas, MI.

We love spending time in Tawas during the summer. We got to celebrate our favorite girl turning 8 this year. No trip is complete without ice cream from Marion’s in downtown.

We spent the day at the beach. The kids swam, played in the sand, and the parents enjoyed reading on the beach. Addie picked dinner at Big Boy followed by mini-golf and ice cream. She picked her outfit to get some birthday photos behind Marion’s with her ice cream.

Pretty sure I can’t pick a favorite but man is my sweet girl growing up! Adding all the grain to my edits for these because I love the vintage feel.

I’m always on the hunt for incorporating new traditions to our celebrations. We used to do balloons and signs on the kids’ doors. However, in the past few years, we haven’t been able to do that. What favorite birthday and/or holiday traditions do you have with your own kiddos? Give me your best ideas!
