As a photographer, personalizing your session is something that I love. The kids in this family loved art, so we incorporated painting some canvases at the end of our session after lots of play!

The geese chose to fly by at just the right moment during this session!

When we scheduled this session, we anticipated the golden hues of sunset (and the sun did make an appearance for a short time). Instead, we were greeted with dramatic clouds with gorgeous pockets of light. The moody skies created a breathtaking, cinematic backdrop that framed the family. The trade-off was we had to put up with some pretty chilly temps! However, this family were troopers.

Painting with a Twist:

As a surprise for the kids, I set up small canvases and brought paint for them to use to create their own art. It was so much fun watching them do something they loved, and hopefully, a memory the whole family will treasure!
